Rosie O’Donnell says she began treatment for depression after the Columbine school shootings and also started inversion therapy- where she hangs upside down for up to 30 minutes a day- to improve her mental state. When gunmen killed 13 people at Columbine High School in Colorado in 1999, Rosie said she felt as if it had happened to her children. “I couldn’t stop crying,” she said on an episode taped for The View and due to air Friday. Rosie demonstrates the inversion therapy on the show.

Jason Donovan is set to spill the beans on his relationship with Kylie Minogue for the first time.
The actor and singer has signed a £1 million deal to publish his autobiography, which will include full details of his time with former Neighbours co-star Kylie.
Minogue and Donovan had been expected to marry in the 80s, but fans of the pair were shocked when Kylie dumped him and started a new relationship with rock singer Michael Hutchence.

As her July 7 wedding to Tony Parker draws nearer, Eva Longoria has a surprise to spring on the event's entertainer.
"My friend Kenny [Chesney] is going to sing at my wedding, the Desperate Housewives star tells Cosmopolitan for its April issue. Except there's one snag: "He just doesn't know it yet," Longoria admits.
As for what is already planned, Longoria, 31, looks forward to having a family, though when it will start may still be open to discussion.
"I never had a timeline for my life. I didn't say I wanted to be married at 28 and have three kids by the time I was 32," she says. "I do want to have a family at some point. I also want to adopt. I don't feel pressure to have kids because I know there are so many out there."
Asked what excites her most about the wedding to come, Longoria exclaims, "My dress, my dress, my dress! I wish I could wear 10 dresses to my wedding. It's so sad that you put it in storage and then never see it again."
She has a remedy for that, though: "I am going to sleep in mine after I wear it."
Longoria is far more serious when discussing how she and San Antonio Spurs point guard Parker deal with conflict. "We never go to bed angry, which sometimes frustrates Tony because he'll be like 'Please. I have a game tomorrow. I need sleep,' " she says.
"Another rule we have is that nobody is ever right. I don't need to be right. I just want to be understood. The same goes for him," she adds.

Former Melrose Place costars Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner have been spotted together multiple times – even holding hands – but pals say the two aren't starting a Hollywood romance.
"[They] have been friends since Melrose Place," a Wagner pal reveals, referring to the '90s prime-time soap in which the pair played lovers who ended up marrying. "There's definitely no change in their relationship. They [just] went out with a bunch of her friends."
The old friends have more in common than they used to, though. Locklear, 45, is seeking a divorce from Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, with whom she has a 9-year-old daughter, Ava. Double the good news for Salma Hayek: The actress is engaged to businessman boyfriend François-Henri Pinault – and she's pregnant.
"Businessman, François-Henri Pinault, and his fiancée, Salma Hayek, are happy to announce they are expecting the arrival of their first child," Hayek's rep confirmed in a statement Friday.
The news, first reported by New York Daily News columnist Ben Widdicombe, comes just days after a photo of Hayek made the Web rounds prompting speculation that she was expecting.
The pair have kept a relatively low profile since their relationship began – though Hayek, 40, has joined Pinault for occasional public events, including one in April at the festivities surrounding the inauguration of the Pinault Foundation's Modern Art collection in Venice's Gritti Palace.
Pinault, 44, is the CEO of luxury goods firm PPR, which owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as a French department store and national music chain. Johnny Depp's daughter, who has reportedly fallen ill in England, is "doing much better" the actor's rep said in a statement Thursday.

Depp and his longtime girlfriend , Vanessa Paradis, have two children, Lily-Rose, 7, and Jack, 5.
Several British papers have reported that Lily-Rose came down with an undisclosed illness over a week ago and that Depp, 43, has been by her bedside every day.
Depp has been filming a movie version of the stage musical Sweeney Todd for DreamWorks. A studio rep said: "We have adjusted the schedule to accommodate [Depp's] needs at this moment. We understand that [Lily-Rose] is improving. ... Obviously everybody at the studio is certainly with them in their good spirits."
While Britney Spears remained in rehab, Kevin Federline headed to Las Vegas over the weekend – with the kids.

"Kevin was really low-key," one source says. "You could definitely tell he was on his best behavior. He was having a good time, but wasn't the wild, crazy Kevin who used to come to Vegas."
In his latest trip, he arrived on Saturday with Sean Preston, 18 months, and Jayden James, 6 months, plus a nanny, his mother and brother and two bodyguards, sources say.
He had dinner with friends and family at the hotel's Japonais restaurant, says a source, who adds: "He was late for dinner because he wanted to tuck his kids into bed."
By midnight, he was relaxing at a VIP table at the Revolution with a group of friends who included Las Vegas comedian Jeff Beacher.
Spears's rehab ordeal, says a source, has matured Federline.
"He wakes up with a purpose each morning and has enjoyed his family being around him," says the source.

Robbie Williams has reportedly left his rehabilitation programme a week early.
The Sun reports that the troubled singer, who is seeking to overcome his dependency on anti-depressants, sleeping pills and caffeine, has left the Cottonwood de Tucson centre in Arizona three weeks into a four week programme.
The Cottonwood de Tucson programme, which costs £700 a night, is renowned for being one of the toughest rehabilitation programmes in the US.
Williams has reportedly returned to his mum Jan, a drink and drug counsellor, in Los Angeles.
Brad Pitt is reportedly concerned that Angelina Jolie's appetite has diminished.
The Fight Club actor and Jolie's brother James Haven are said to be alarmed that the actress' weight has plummeted since her mother Marcheline died in January.
A source told Grazia: "Brad and James adore Angelina for her endless quest to make the world a better place, but they worry about her not eating or sleeping enough. Her mother Marcheline's death has put pressure on her and this may partly explain the weight loss.
"But everyone is worried that her way of coping is by throwing herself into her UN work and looking after her kids - with scant regard for herself."
