EMINEM FILES FOR DIVORCE
Eminem has filed for divorce from wife Kimberley Mathers — again — after just 82 days of marriage!
A source close to the rap giant tells Star that divorce papers — under his birth name Marshall Bruce Mathers III — were filed on his behalf on the morning of April 5, at the Macomb County (Mich.) Clerk's office.
Star broke the world-exclusive story last September that the troubled couple (who first wed in 1999, then divorced in 2001) would remarry again in January 2006 — which they did, on the 14th at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills, eleven miles north of their suburban Detroit home.
Eminem, 33, and Kim, 31, have a daughter, Hailie, 10. He also adopted Kim's daughter Whitney, 3, from another relationship, and they've been sharing their home with Kim's niece, Alaina, 12.
As Star previously reported, Eminem's grandmother has said she believes the couple did not have a prenup.
Westlife's Tour Profiles
KIAN
Favourite tour: The Greatest Hits tour, I think it was definitely our best show. It makes a big difference to us when the show’s really good and you’re enjoying performing every night.
Favourite venue: Probably Belfast, I think it’s one of the best venues in Europe. It’s a great place to bring your family and friends and the audience are always electric and very, very loud.
Standout gig: It was one of the smaller gigs that we’ve done, when we played a place called Port Elizabeth in South Africa. There were about 5,000 people in a college gymnasium and they went absolutely berserk. I remember being on stage and the sweat just pouring off us and wanting to give more and more because of the audience being so electric.
Favourite track to perform live: Probably World Of Our Own. It’s a song you never really get sick of, it’s got a great chorus and the crowd love it every time.
Most memorable fan moment: We were onstage in Indonesia and a fan pretended to faint and got carried over the barrier and she jumped up, ran onto the stage, clean past me, Nicky, Shane and Brian and latched on to Mark, literally jumped on him and held on, and it took about five security to drag her off him.
Most memorable banner: We get some really rude ones, which can be quite funny.
Funniest thing thrown on stage: Granny knickers are always an awful, disgusting thing to throw on stage, especially the ones that practically stretch the size of the room.
Most looking forward to on tour: Just being on tour again is a very enjoyable time. It’s quite relaxing, you don’t have much to do in the day time, maybe play a bit of golf. You just go on stage every night and do your performance.
My dressing room requests: Maybe some sweets and some chewing gum. We get all our shaving gear and stuff like that, and then we always have a few bottles of beer and wine. Nothing more extravagant than that.
MARK
Favourite tour: I’d say the Greatest Hits, because all the fans believed the press that it was probably going to be our last tour so everyone came to see us. It was just great fun basically, we really mastered it that year.
Favourite venue: Probably Norway, because we always get a really good reaction. But actually just a little bit ahead of that would be Copenhagen, ‘cause the crowd there are always absolutely insanely nuts, in the good sense, and we always get a massive buzz.
Standout gig: I really enjoyed doing Earls Court for five nights. My 22nd birthday party was actually that same week. It was an amazing achievement and we were very, very proud.
Favourite track to perform live: World of Our Own. The crowd love it and it’s a great song to sing.
Most memorable fan moment: It’s actually not a very nice one, but it shows why sometimes it’s better for the fans not to go too crazy. We were going into a hotel in Glasgow and this girl got pushed and she fell and cut her forehead open on the edge of the footpath, it was horrible. We went to see her in hospital and we always recognise her. It’s memorable for the wrong reasons.
Most memorable banner: It’s quite weird when you see banners for members of the crew and you’re like, ‘OK, what was he up to!’ We never get to the bottom of it.
Funniest thing thrown on stage: A turnip.
Most looking forward to on tour: The rehearsals, because we haven’t played with the band for ages and it’s good to get back to singing live with a live band again.
My dressing room requests: I just need a big stereo that has loud speakers, a kettle for making hot water and honey before we go on stage, Red Bull or some sort of caffeine drink and a good shower and towels.
NICKY
Favourite tour: Mine was the In & Out tour. We did about 107 nights, in every city, and got to do a lot of acrobatic stuff, like abseiling in. The unfortunate part is it was never filmed as a live show.
Favourite venue: Difficult question for me. I love Belfast, I love the Globe in Sweden when it’s full, Manchester’s always fantastic, Wembley’s great and Dublin’s great.
Standout gig: The Coca Cola Dome in Jo’burg. We did it twice, and both times it was sold out and absolutely jammed. But actually, I think to beat that was two nights in Lansdowne Road on our Greatest Hits tour. For me on a personal level, I was going to Lansdowne Road as a kid to watch the Republic of Ireland play soccer from the age of six, and then to be there and play was incredible.
Favourite track to perform live…World Of Our Own
Most memorable fan moment: Sometimes you get requests from parents to play for their daughters who aren’t very well. This one girl wasn’t going to make it very long and we got up on stage and sang to her. It’s always very, very hard.
Most memorable banner: ‘Nicky shake your shamrocks’
Funniest thing thrown on stage: There was a little baby thrown up on stage once. I picked it up, but it turned out to be a doll.
Most looking forward to on tour: Apart from the live crowds and all the screaming and the girls that throw their knickers at us, I would say the catering.
My dressing room requests: I like Celebrations sweets. I have to have them before I go on stage or I refuse to go on.
SHANE
My favourite tour: The Turnaround tour. When it comes to stage performances I think it was definitely up there as our best. The outfits were the best, I think our medley of old songs was unbelievable, stuff like the Blues Brothers bit. I think the crowd enjoyed it the most.
My favourite venue: I have a few. When it comes to crowds, our home crowd in Dublin is pretty amazing. Belfast, Glasgow, the Scottish fans are amazing. Sligo was very memorable. There’s so many it’s hard to pick.
Standout gig: The first night we did at Lansdowne Road. We went to see Robbie Williams the year before and we were going, ‘Wow, imagine playing this place!’ We used to do a lot of indoor arenas, but to play an outdoor arena is an achievement. The feeling when we looked out over the crowd for the first time, it was ridiculous.
Favourite track to perform live: Definitely Flying Without Wings. It’s definitely one of the best pop songs written in the last ten years. It’s our trademark song and to sing it live is unreal.
Most memorable fan moment: The one in Indonesia. Kian robbed my one!
Most memorable banner: 'Shane you’re a pain’.
Funniest thing thrown on stage: Definitely the granny knickers, we got a lot of them on our last tour.
Most looking forward to on tour: I’m looking forward to playing lots of golf and getting my handicap down to about 14 from 18. That’s my target. We have every day off on the tour, so it’s pretty handy.
My dressing room requests: The only thing we need this year is a clock in Mark’s room, just to let him know we’re on in ten minutes, because Mark is always late.

Tom Cruise gets Katie a pacifier
Tom Cruise may have found a way to keep Katie Holmes from violating the precepts of Scientology and shrieking in pain when she gives birth to their child.
It's a specially crafted adult pacifier, reports Star magazine.
"He commissioned an adult-sized 'binky' for her to clench between her teeth, hoping that it'll squelch her screams," a source tells the mag. "In keeping with a Scientology silent birth, Tom is prepared to do whatever it takes to muffle Katie's moans and groans during the delivery."
The alleged pacifier, which is reportedly made of plastic and molded to perfectly fit the 27-year-old Katie's mouth, could be deployed very soon. Cruise recently told a German television interviewer: "Katie could be having our baby at any minute."
And the 43-year-old Cruise - who three years ago spent several months wearing braces - likely knows a friendly orthodontist who could help get such a contraption made.
Star also reports that Holmes - with Scientology minder Jessica Rodriguez often at her side - has been spending long days at the Celebrity Centre in Hollywood and is under pressure to renounce her Catholic upbringing and fully embrace Scientology.
Brad Pitt 'walks out' on Angelina
While some reports say that the heavily pregnant Angelina Jolie has kicked Pitt out of the bedroom and onto the couch, another report literally goes a few steps further — and has Brad Pitt walking out the door.
"Brad and Angelina have been fighting like cat and dog over where to have the baby, over whether Angelina should continue to fly, over marriage and also over her thinness," a source reveals in NW magazine.
Pitt is also apparently "under pressure" from his family to end his relationship with Angelina to the as soon as possible.
It's yet to be confirmed whether Brad's in the lounge room of the couple's Paris apartment, or whether he's actually left. But there have been signs of trouble in paradise for some weeks, with the couple spending more and more time apart and few recent photos of them together.
Perhaps the truth about their relationship will emerge when the bundle of joy is finally is delivered. But as one insider says: "Angelina has been putting up obstacle after obstacle.
James Ransone kicks rapist ass
James Ransone stopped a rapist Monday night when he heard muffled cries for help and quickly rushed out of his apartment to find a man assaulting his neighbor with his penis hanging out. Dressed in pajamas and armed with a metal bar, James scared the guy off, eventually chasing him down and beating him a few times.
"There was something in her voice," he relates. So he grabbed a broomstick which he later dropped for a metal bar, called 911 and ran downstairs "in my pajama bottoms - no shoes, no socks and no shirt," Ransone says.
He got to the vestibule in the nick of time. "There was this Hispanic guy in a blue sweatshirt choking my neighbor and pulling his [sex organ] out," he told Page Six's Lisa Marsh. "I pictured my mom, my girlfriend and every girl I've ever loved and thought, 'Vengeance is mine.' "
"I looked north and south and saw him running," Ransone recalls. As he ran after the attacker, he passed a friend walking his dog and called for him to join in the chase. "I screamed, 'Follow me! This girl almost got raped!' "
Ransone caught up with the assailant as he entered a building on Allen Street. He broke a glass door to get at the perp and then cracked him on the back with the metal bar.
"I said, 'You rapist piece of [bleep]' and heard a crack when I hit his shoulder blade," Ransone says. "He mimed taking out a gun and said, 'Do you want to go to jail?' - and made a bee-line for the door.
"I cried, 'I'm not done with you yet' and kept swinging," Ransone says. Then the cops arrived and the attacker disappeared into the building. An arrest is expected soon.
Pilar Montenegro cries on live tv
A weeping Pilar Montenegro accused her ex-husband Jorge Reynoso releasing "Compromising pictures" to a Mexican magazine in which she appears naked and asked him to "leave her alone" and go on with her career.
The singer told Telemundo and Telefutura TV networks Reynoso took such pictures to the TV y Novelas gossip magazine to affect her "I would not know why" since she will show up in a risqué photo shoot of the Penthouse magazine.
"I am quite hurt because my family was hurt and because those were very personal pictures taken when we were a married couple", she said from San Antonio to the gossip TV show "Escándalo".
"I always have a good say of him; he has done quite the opposite", the singer of songs like "Quitame ese Hombre" said.
Some weeks ago, Reynoso was arrested in Miami after trying to attack Noelia, his client now.
Freddy Krueger prequel in the works
New Line Cinema is reportedly working on a prequel of Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. The film would show the back-story of everyone's favorite killer Freddy Krueger.
The news comes from the man behind the claws, Robert Englund. In an interview, the actor said, "I think it should go the docudrama route that shows his crimes against the children. Then you cast two of the greatest character actors you can find to play the lawyers that get him off. Then of course it leads up to Freddy being burned alive."
Englund added that John McNaughton of Wild Things fame is in talks to direct. No word on a start date, let alone a release date.
She's a bitch and I'm a good person: Paris Hilton
Yikes. Best to stay on the good side of Paris Hilton.
The slightly wealthy star has finally unleashed her feelings about former best bud Nicole Richie - and there's not a lot of love going on.
"She (Nicole) cannot stand being around me because I get all the attention and people really don't care about her," Paris told Elle magazine.
Ouch. But she goes on...
"I've been best friends with her since I was two, but when I brought her on to my show, she got very jealous and turned on me for no reason.
She claimed in the interview that Nicole had used Paris' name to promote her book The Truth About Diamonds.
"It's really pathetic that she needs to use my name to sell something because she's obviously not enough."
The full interview appears in Elle magazine - on sale on Wednesday 5th April.

Theater Pulls Trailer for 'United 93'
A New York City movie theater has pulled the trailer for
"United 93," which chronicles in real time the hijacked United Airlines
flight that crashed into a Western Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11.
The AMC Loews Lincoln Square 12 theater in Manhattan said it made the
decision after viewers complained they found it too upsetting.
"I don't think people are ready for this," theater manager Kevin
Adjodha said.
"One lady was crying," Adjodha told Newsweek. "She was saying that we
shouldn't have played the trailer. That this was wrong."
Universal Studios in Los Angeles, meanwhile, said it would go ahead
with plans to show the trailer for the thriller, which is scheduled to
open in theaters on April 28.
Adam Fogelson, Universal's president of marketing, said the trailer
would be shown only before R-rated movies or "grown-up" PG-13 ones.
"The film is not sanitized or softened, it's an honest and real look"
at the events of Flight 93, Fogelson told The New York Times in Tuesday
editions. "If I sanitized the trailer beyond what's there, am I
suggesting that the experience will be less real than what the movie itself
is? We as a company feel comfortable that it is a responsible and fair
way to show what's coming."
"United 93" is scheduled to make its world premiere on opening night at
the Tribeca Film Festival in Manhattan.
The festival, which was created to help lower Manhattan recover
economically from the attacks, begins April 25 and runs through May 7.
The trailer begins with images of passengers boarding the plane on a
sunny morning, and builds to a disturbing scene that includes actual news
video of a plane about to hit one of the World Trade Center towers. It
then returns inside Flight 93 as terrorists begin hijacking it and a
passenger calls his family to tell them of the impending disaster.
The Families of Flight 93 have said that Universal Pictures will donate
10 percent of the first three days' grosses to the memorial.
ROSIE O'DONNELL CHALLENGES CAMPBELL TO FIGHT
US comedian ROSIE O'DONNELL has challenged supermodel NAOMI CAMPBELL to a fight, insisting the British beauty needs someone to "kick her a*s". O'Donnell was horrified when the catwalk queen was charged with assault in New York City last month (31MAR06) after she allegedly beat her assistant with a mobile telephone. And she plans to exert her own brand of justice on the fiery model. O'Donnell explains, "I just picture this cute little Mexican woman working saying, Excuse me Miss Campbell can I possibly get you... ' and Naomi going, 'Get away from me, bam bam bam!' "To make matters worse she had that jewel-encrusted cell phone. That's got to score with the diamonds. "She looks like you could snap her in two but she's a tough-a*s, kick-a*s woman "I would actually like to fight her. I think for all the people that she's beaten up, I think she needs a big 200 pound lesbian to kick her a*s."
OLIVER STONE: 'MEDIA SLANDERS POLITICALLY-MINDED STARS'
Movie-maker OLIVER STONE has blasted media groups who "slander" celebrities for their political comments - because intelligent stars have every right to question their leaders. The Vietnam veteran, who is a fierce opponent of the US leadership, is appalled every time a celebrity is rudely mocked for making his or her thoughts about PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH and the war in Iraq public, and he urges journalists to be more supportive. The NATURAL BORN KILLERS director says, "We're Hollywood wackos and all that stuff, left-wing... (It's) an easy and facile dismissal. "I'm still a citizen, I've served my country as a veteran, I've had many jobs before the film business. I know something of life, having lived to this age. "We have a right to speak and every time we speak: 'You're an actor, a showbusiness director! "This is not a way of dealing with people. This is slander."
Rift Between Clooney and Pitt
George Clooney is steamed that longtime pal Brad Pitt first backed out of a plan to join him in building a posh Las Vegas resort, only to turn around and set his sights on building a similar resort in Palm Springs.
The 'Ocean's Eleven' co-stars were investors in Las Ramblas, a $3 billion, 11-building complex off the Las Vegas Strip. But Pitt soon soured on the deal, leaving Clooney to partner with Cindy Crawford's club-owning husband, Rande Gerber.
"After Pitt left Clooney at the altar on the Vegas deal, it lost its steam and now the word around Vegas is that Las Ramblas is on its last legs," a Vegas insider tells TMZ. "So the idea that Brad's going to build his own hotel without George's help is quite the eye-opener."
Pitt has jetted to Germany twice recently to meet with a trio of award-winning architects he's hired to draw up plans for the as-yet unnamed, $60 million futuristic resort.
"Clooney wants to run an old-school, black-tie formal resort in Las Vegas that harkens back to the Sinatra era, but Brad's more about being hip and more Hollywood-oriented, so that's the direction he's going with the plans in Palm Springs," the source says. "Industry types in Vegas always smirked at Clooney's plans, but Pitt's plan to tap into the young market makes more sense to them.
"The business deals gone bad will make for some cold shoulders on the set of 'Ocean's Thirteen,'" notes the source. The latest installment in the heist film series is slated to begin filming in Las Vegas in July.

Garth Brooks' ex-wife kidnapped
The ex-wife of country music star Garth Brooks was kidnapped at gunpoint by a man who worked on her farm after she cooperated with a bail bondsman who wanted to arrest the worker, authorities said Tuesday.
Sandy Brooks had allowed the bondsman onto her property Monday to apprehend the man, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The worker responded by drawing a weapon, forcing her into a car and ordering her to drive away, said Barry Lamb, undersheriff of Rogers County.
After driving for several miles (kilometers), Brooks stopped the car and fled into a convenience store, Lamb said.
Quintine Cornelius Harper, 24, was arrested and charged Tuesday with kidnapping and weapons offenses, police said.
Sandy Brooks and Garth Brooks were married for 15 years. The couple have three children, but none were present at the time of the kidnapping, Lamb said.
Garth Brooks married Trisha Yearwood in a private ceremony in December at their home northeast of Tulsa.
Sandy Brooks lives nearby, Lamb said.
Ian McKellen Thinks Jake Gyllenhaal Is Rude
Ian McKellen has criticized Jake Gyllenhaal for being apprehensive about kissing his Brokeback Mountain co-star Heath Ledger on screen. The openly gay actor - who recently spoke out against Hollywood's old-fashioned views on sexuality - lambasted Gyllenhaal, 25, for failing to consider how his comments would be interpreted from a homosexual perspective.
He says, "I got very upset when one of the actors said it was the most terrifying job he'd ever had because it involved him kissing another man. Imagine how rude that is. Suppose I'd said the most appalling thing I ever to do was kiss Helen Mirren!"
