Movie star BRUCE WILLIS supports Americans in their constitutional right to carry a gun, insisting everyone should be able to defend themselves with a weapon if need be. The DIE HARD actor is keen to point out gun owners are not automatically violent. He says, "If you take guns away from legal gun owners then the only people who would have guns would be the bad guys. "Even a pacifist would get violent if someone were trying to kill him or her. "You would fight for your life, whatever your beliefs. You'd use a rock or tear one of these chairs out of the floor. "

Stones fans gather at Richards' hospital
Fans gathered outside a hospital Sunday
where Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards was reportedly being treated for a mild concussion he suffered after falling out of a palm tree
while vacationing in Fiji.
Richards, 62, was injured earlier this week and flown to a New Zealand hospital for treatment, band spokeswoman Fran Curtis said in a statement Saturday.
"Following treatment locally and as a precautionary measure, he flew to a hospital accompanied by his wife, Patti, for observation," Curtis said.
Lindsay Lohan gets bedroom shocker at Brett Ratner's home
"X-MEN: The Last Stand" director Brett Ratner never
bothered to tell his "friend" Lindsay Lohan that he had a girlfriend - resulting in a loud, messy fight between the young star and Romanian model Alina Puscau at Ratner's home last week.
Late Monday night, Lohan - who has become close friends with the director in the past month - and a pal decided to pop in on Ratner unannounced.
"Brett wasn't returning any of her calls, so she decided to stop by and say hi," a source said.
"Brett never told Lindsay he had a girlfriend. She had no idea," the source said. "He is constantly e-mailing, texting and calling her. She just wanted to hang out. He had given her the code to his house and told her to come over anytime, so she went."
But once at the house, Lohan was shocked when she found Ratner in bed with his girlfriend, Puscau.
"Alina jumped out of bed and went ballistic," another source said. "They started screaming at each other and took the fight first into the
living room and then out to the driveway while Brett hid in the bedroom.
"Lindsay said she could get Alina deported and left. What she doesn't know is that Alina and Brett are so serious, he gave her a big diamond
promise ring last November which she wears on her right hand. She doesn't care that he may cheat. She's got the big diamond ring."
Lohan and Ratner patched things up enough for Lohan to return to the scene of the fight Tuesday night for a Victoria's Secret party he was
hosting at his home.
"Lindsay has a long relationship with Victoria's Secret," one source sniffed. "Of course she was going to support them." No word on whether Puscau attended the party as well, but Kate Bosworth, Danny Kee, Matthew Perry, Owen Wilson, Chris Tucker, John Mayer, Sienna Miller and Lance Armstrong did.
Lohan's rep said: "Lindsay is friends with Brett but has romantic interests elsewhere." Ratner's rep declined to comment.
'Revenge of the Nerds' being remade
Kyle Newman has signed on to direct "Revenge of the Nerds," a remake of the seminal 1984 teen comedy.
The project is being developed by Fox Atomic, the new young-adult genre division of Fox Filmed Entertainment. The studio is eyeing a summer start date.
The film reteams Newman with scribe Adam F. Goldberg, who is rewriting the latest "Nerds" incarnation.
The pair worked together on Newman's upcoming "Fanboys," which will be distributed by the Weinstein Co. Newman also penned the animated children's comedy "Gnomes."
PRINCE HARRY CAN FIGHT IF PRINCE WILLIAM IS A DAD
PRINCE Harry will get his wish to fight on the frontline - but ONLY if brother Wills marries and has a child.
That would push Harry - now third in line to the Throne - further down the order of succession and make him less of a "trophy target" for any enemy in a war zone.
The Prince, 21, who threatened to quit the Army if he was protected, will be told of the compromise by top brass.
A Royal aide said: "If William marries his girlfriend Kate Middleton and she has a baby, Harry's chance of becoming King goes from remote to virtually zero.
"Then no mission will be out of bounds."
Harry, commissioned from Sandhurst into the Blues and Royals, may be planning to take girlfriend Chelsy Davy to join Wills and Kate on holiday in Mustique.
Love makes shock live appearance
Courtney Love made her live comeback in Los Angeles this weekend (April 29), with a little help from her famous friends.
Love was joined by Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan and songwriting guru Linda Perry, formerly of the 4 Non Blondes, both of whom are collaborators on her upcoming solo record.
The unlikely threesome teamed up for the Gay and Lesbian Community Centre benefit at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, and Courtney took the opportunity to give a live airing to new songs 'Sunset Marquis' and 'Pacific Coast Highway'.
Talking exclusively to NME, Love said: "Billy and me have never been onstage before and it was intense. His guitar parts are haunting and beautiful. It was me, him, Linda and 2000 lesbians and the songs are dramatically different from the demos. It was fucking historic, Billy played 'Can't Find My Way Home' by Blind Faith and Linda played 'Beautiful' and 'What's Going On'. It was such a cool living room vibe. The songs are smashing now. I wouldn't fuck around here, this is the best shit I've done since the 'Live Through This' period."
She continued: "It's hard to sell six-minute new songs and you could have heard a pin drop although apparently there was speculation about whether I was wearing underwear. Look I've been wearing short skirts onstage forever and and obviously I wear panties. Christ!"
Courtney Love is currently working on songs for her second solo album, which carries the working title 'How Dirty Girls Get Clean'. The comeback process is being filmed for a Channel 4 documentary.
STORCH DEFENDS HILTON
Top producer SCOTT STORCH has slammed critics who claim PARIS HILTON is not a credible artist, insisting the heiress has talent. Storch, who has worked with a string of highly acclaimed artists including BEYONCE KNOWLES, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, SEAN PAUL, and JESSICA SIMPSON, is producing Hilton's upcoming debut album. And he is convinced it will be a huge success. Storch says, "I was hesitant at first. But we did a trial run in the studio, and the first song we did was a smash. "It's not always about working with the hottest artist. I sometimes go for challenges although people look at me strangely like, 'Why are you doing that?' "However, with a risk sometimes come a huge reward. It's about having the vision to be able to turn a challenge into something and then you win the Heisman. "She (Paris) has a certain tone that is reminiscent of CYNDI LAUPER and BLONDIE. The album doesn't have just one particular sound. It's just good music - a combination of R+B, hip-hop and pop. "It will surprise a lot of people because there's a real artistry coming from Paris."

Ex-pals Blue it
Ex Blue star Duncan James has had a pop at his old bandmates. Duncan, 27, releases his new solo single Sooner Of Later this month and says Lee Ryan, 22, should have paced himself better. He said: "Lee's album was a bit rushed." And Antony Costa's Eurovision bid didn't impress him either. "Euro is tacky and cheesy and he should've thought about that a bit first." Sooner or later Lee or Ant, 24, will have words with our Duncan.
