According to Channel 2 Action News, Atlanta authorities caught the aforementioned individuals trying to flush drugs and money down the toilet when they swept into the studio of Making Big Moves Records, after getting a tip of drug transactions occurring at the facility.

"They were in the bathroom and they were trying to flush a lot of the drugs down the toilet," Atlanta Police Officer Richard Light told reporters. "They just had too much and couldn't flush it all down."

Authorities divulged that they seized more than 11 pounds of marijuana, $150,000 in cash, two handguns and a stack of pornography. Two minor children who were at the studio during the raid, were taken into custody, but were later released to their mother.

At press time, the name of the DFB member was not released but it was revealed that 28-year old Anthony Blalock, CEO of Making Big Moves Records, was among the eight people arrested.

All eight people face drug possession and trafficking charges and are expected to face a judge today (June 14).

Usher has gone back to school - to clean a New Orleans education facility destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

The 'Pop Your Collar' singer took time out of his schedule to help volunteers remove debris which has left the International School of Louisiana unusable since the disaster last August (05).

He said: "To see it, in this state, it's devastating. I'm here to physically do something and hopefully motivate other people to do the same."

On Monday (12.06.06), Usher met with students at Xavier and Dillard University, whose campuses were flooded.

One of them, 21-year-old Trivia Frazier, said: "It's very inspirational, just knowing somebody cares."

The clean-up operation is not the first time Usher has devoted him time to help the victims of Katrina.

Shortly after the disaster happened, he set up Project Restart - an organisation that helps families affected by the tragedy in the Gulf Coast region find housing.

Usher is not the only celebrity to visit the region recently.

A trial began Monday on a federal lawsuit by a producer who worked on the first two White Stripes albums and says he played a pivotal role in creating the two-member rock band's signature sound and deserves a share of the royalties.

Jim Diamond, who is listed as co-producer on the band's self-titled first album, released in 1999, filed suit in April in U.S. District Court in Detroit. He is listed as sound mixer on "De Stijl," released in 2000.

The trial started Monday with jury selection before U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn and was expected to take about a week.

The White Stripes deny that Diamond helped create the band's style. The band said in court documents that it paid him $35 an hour for time at his Ghetto Recorders studio, which he started in 1996.

TWO more graphic publications featuring Lady Heather Mills McCartney emerged yesterday — threatening to widen her rift with husband Sir Paul.

The ex-model posed for hard core porn pictures in an X-rated US booklet crammed with snaps of sex scenes.

In the 1988 book, titled Sexual Secrets, she is seen performing a sex act, indulging in bondage and simulating full sex.

The volume — with many pictures too filthy to print in a family newspaper — was published by New York firm Arlington and sold worldwide through an erotic book club.

Heather is also shown exposing herself and being seduced by a male “co-star”. She is seen laid over his knee while he prepares to spank her bare behind.

Other pictures, which do not feature Heather, show four-in-a-bed and lesbian sex.

Meanwhile last night it emerged that Heather — who split from Macca last month after four married years — was also pictured in a top-shelf French magazine.

It is thought she appeared in a number of graphic poses.

News of the two publications comes just days after The Sun exclusively revealed how the blonde had posed for pornographic snaps in lewd 1988 German book The Joys of Love.

Last night rocker Sir Paul, 63 was bracing himself for the latest revelations. A pal said: “This will be yet another bombshell for him.

“Heather always insisted her modelling past just included a sex guide. But Paul’s since been made aware just how pornographic some pictures are. He has always thought the Press were out to get her and exaggerating her colourful past — but now he just isn’t sure. David Beckham is disappointed that an article in Germany’s top-selling newspaper mocked his wife, mother, sister and children.

“That’s one thing that is hard to accept,” the England captain said Tuesday. “I’ve come to terms with people criticizing me as a footballer, but when it comes to my family that’s one thing I will never accept.

“I actually find it sad that someone drops to that level to criticize my family. It’s just one sad person sat in a room thinking of one thing that maybe can try to put me off the next game. I’m not going to let it do that.”

In an article spread across almost the entire back page of Monday’s edition, the German tabloid Bild described how Beckham’s family looked while watching England’s 1-0 win over Paraguay on Saturday.

The article said Beckham’s wife Victoria, a former singer with the Spice Girls, was a “luxury wife,” described two of three of Beckham’s sons as dwarves, and called one, Romeo, a girl. It also described Beckham’s mother as having “a farmer’s smile” and his sister Joanne as “Chubbyham.”

Beckham said he found it disappointing because he’d always had a good relationship with the German public.

John Cusack's motivation for his latest film grew out of something he did not see - flag-draped caskets returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Pentagon policy bans media coverage of America's war dead as their remains are returned. The administration of U.S. President George Bush has strongly enforced the ban, something Cusack describes as "one of the most shameful, disgraceful, cowardly political acts that I've seen in my lifetime."

So the actor started looking for a project that would illustrate "what happens when the coffins come home."

The result is Grace Is Gone, a small, independent film in which Cusack plays a man whose wife Grace is killed in service in Iraq. Filming wrapped last month. The movie's producers - who include Cusack - will be looking for a distributor or film festival opportunities.

After seven seasons, That '70s Show really is going out with a bang!

Sexy Mila Kunis had a major meltdown on the set when she learned that her former co-star Topher Grace agreed to appear in a top secret reunion finale - but only if his name wasn't attached to the project.

"When Mila learned of Topher's diva demand, she went through the roof, " a show insider tells GLOBE. "This series made him famous, but he refused to do any advertising or promos."

The final episode - the series' 200th - will air May 18.

Ashton Kutcher and Grace left the show last year to pursue film projects - but neither has found much success. Both agreed to the reunion.

"It's no secret that Topher has a love-hate relationship with the show that brought him fame and fortune," says the source. "He wants to be a big movie star and he seems to think TV is beneath him now. He agreed to the reunion show on one condition - don't use his name. He's distanced himself from his old cast and has ruffled more than a few feathers here on the set. He's adamant about not getting stuck with being known as 'the boy from That '70s Show.'"

Mila's meltdown occured during the emotional final weeks of taping. The actress, who plays Jackie Burkhart, was chatting to some of the actors and crew when she was told about Grace's "no publicity" demand, which his rep says was meant to make his return a farewell surprise for viewers.

"She went nuts," reveals the insider. "Mila is normally pretty even-tempered, but Topher's mandate made her see red. She ripped into his better-than-thou attitude.

"The director was there to calm Mila down, and after she took a few breaths she smiled and said, 'Okay, I'm better now. Let's get back to work.' But the feeling is Topher's attitude has put a real damper on the show's last days."

The surviving founders of the Beach Boys — Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine — made their first public appearance together in 10 years Tuesday, standing atop the historic Capitol Records building in Hollywood.

The trio gathered to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the landmark “Pet Sounds” album and the recent double-platinum certification of 2003’s “Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of the Beach Boys.” The trio was joined by veteran band member Bruce Johnston and former Beach Boy David Marks.

“It’s always good to do this while we’re living,” Jardine quipped to reporters before the event, in which band members were presented with framed plaques each containing two platinum vinyl records.

Plaques also were issued posthumously to Wilson’s brothers, Carl and Dennis — both original Beach Boys members.

The reunion of the Beach Boys came after decades of animosity between Love and Wilson, who are cousins.

Love sued Wilson in November, saying Wilson “shamelessly misappropriated [Love’s] songs, likeness and the Beach Boys trademark, as well as the ‘Smile’ album itself” when Wilson was promoting 2004’s “Smile.” Love previously sued his cousin in the mid-1990s, seeking more songwriting credit on the band’s back catalog.

The two shared a friendly rapport Tuesday, standing side by side and patting each other on the back. In thanking his bandmates, Love lauded “my cousin Brian Wilson, for his incredible abilities that gave us all this amazing life.”

When asked if all hatchets have been buried, Love pointed to his back.

“The hatchets are right here,” he said with a laugh.

Loved added that between the band members “there’s issues that arise, and you resolve them over time.”

Of the reunion, he said: “We’ve been together, just in different configurations and different situations. But this is a great one because everybody’s in a celebratory mood, everybody’s on their good behavior and everybody’s enjoying the fact that our records have been recognized even 40 years after we first put [them] out.”

A second greatest-hits compilation, called “The Warmth of the Sun,” is planned for release next spring, Love and Wilson said.

TV talk show king Maury Povich and his journalist wife Connie Chung's weekend show has been canceled after six months.

It's the latest blow for Maury show star Povich, who is in the middle of a sexual harassment legal battle with a disgruntled former producer.

The MSNBC show, Weekends With Maury & Connie, debuted at the beginning of 2006. No details for the cancellation were released.
