Robbie Williams is in talks to record with Take That.

The singer reportedly wants to work with the group on their album of new material.

Howard Donald revealed that they had invited Robbie to join them in the studio and that he is considering the offer.

He said: "We all hoped Rob would be able to join us on stage but he had his own tour and things got in the way -it's a real shame. But we speak all the time now and he knows the door's always open if he wants to come and record with us or relive his Take That days in any way.

"We would love him to be on the album. Obviously he's got his solo stuff to focus on but he hasn't ruled it out."

Take That will start recording in a London studio later this month before heading off to the US to put the finishing touches to their first album of new material.

Jamie Foxx has won two Black Entertainment TV (BET) awards.

He won best video and collaboration along with hip-hop star Kanye West for their hit song Gold Digger.

Mary J Blige was named best female R&B artist, while Chaka Khan was presented with a lifetime achievement award at the ceremony in LA.

Accepting her award Chaka Khan said: "I am so honoured to be honoured by my own people. This means everything to me."

Chris Brown won both best new artist and the viewers' choice awards.

Missy Elliott won the award in the best female hip-hop category reports BBC online.

It seems that the front runners to play the character of Lucy Ewing in the new Dallas movie have been pipped to the post by a less well-known actress.

But the role has been nabbed by Katie Cassidy instead.

Tom Cruise has refused to release pictures of baby daughter Suri because of his Scientology beliefs.

The 'Top Gun' actor and his fiancee Katie Holmes celebrated the birth of their baby girl in April but are yet to make their first public appearance together as a family.

Lindsay Lohan has dismissed McFly drummer Harry Judd's claim that they had sex as nothing but a publicity stunt.

However, Lohan is sticking by her denial.

Johnny Depp has revealed that he is proud of the ambiguity of his Pirates of the Caribbean character's sexual orientation, since it adds a touch of realism.

Depp, who plays the slightly camp Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean films, assumed this position after reading Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition by Barry R Burg.

He now feels that the ambiguity is fitting as he suspects that the living situations of real pirates may have encouraged them to experiment.

"I like the idea of [Jack] being ambiguous because women were thought to be bad luck on ships and these pirates would go out for years at a time," he is quoted as saying. "So, you know, there is a possibility that one thing might leads to another. You're lonely. You have an extra ration of rum..."

The latest court case involving Michael Jackson, this time concerning unpaid debts, is getting underway in the US.

Marc Schaffel claims that the singer owes him a total sum of $3.8m (£2.1m) for work on an unreleased charity record, two documentaries and various other unpaid loans and expenses.

Meanwhile, Jackson is counterclaiming, alleging that Schaffel owes him production costs and is in possession of $250,000 (£138,000) of artwork belonging to the star. He also claims that Schaffel continued to wrongfully represent himself as being affiliated with Jackson after their business relationship had ended.

The singer is not expected to appear at the hearing in person, his representation being made by video deposition.

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has declined Kate Moss' advances after heeding some motherly advice.

The model, no stranger to dating rock musicians, met Turner at one of band's gigs in February and took his phone number. He has since regretted the meeting because she has been calling and texting him asking to meet up.

Thrown by Moss' attention, Turner apparently sought advice from his mother Penny, who naturally urged him to steer clear of the model, bearing in mind her drug abuse scandals.

A source said: “He was home in Sheffield when the phone rang and this girl said ‘Hi, it’s Kate’. He thought it was one of the girls he used to go to school with asking for free tickets. When he asked ‘Kate who?’ he freaked out when she said it was Kate Moss.

“She asked him if he wanted to meet up and he mumbled something about being busy with the band and he’d have to see. Then she followed it up with a few texts and he panicked and told his mum Penny."

Also convincing him to ignore Moss's texts was the fact that he was going out with someone from school at the time.

Not content with making one of the best albums of the millennium with Gorillaz, the ex Blur man has embarked on a new project with former punk star Paul Simonon.

Damon's new project has been slated as a solo album but it isn't. Its actually a top secret new band just like Gorillaz were originally, said a source.

Damon's managed to talk Paul out of retirement to play bass on the album and he'll also be doing all the artwork for it.

Currently, details are being kept under lock and key but its down for a September release.

The 36-year-old star has seen pictures of Geri and he hopes to "get to know" her during his time in Britain.

An insider said: "Christian obviously heard of Geri when they were both living in Los Angeles but now they are in London, he is hoping to hook up with her."
