Lily Allen thinks Robbie is "past it"
Lily Allen turned down a duet with Robbie Williams because of his age.
The Smile singer was approached to record a song with the star for his new electro album, but she decided that she didn't want to ruin her reputation.
"It could ruin my street cred," Lily is quoted as saying. "He's cute, but past it."
Allen eventually decided to provide some backing vocals for the album.
Dina Lohan Defends Lindsay
Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan, spoke exclusively to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush about the harsh letter Lindsay received from a studio executive and comes to her defense.
The interview airs on Access Hollywood, Monday, July 31, 2006.
Earlier this week, Lindsay received a letter from the CEO of the production company on her current project, "Georgia Rule," scolding her for her "…irresponsible and unprofessional" actions. In response to the letter, Dina told Bush, "The wording was ridiculous." When asked if she thought the executive, James G. Robinson, was out of line and what brought on the unprecedented blast, Dina said, "I feel when you are 19 (years old) it is way out of line… Maybe he has personal issues with whomever and it came out with my child. I don't know him. I can't judge him. I don't think it was a smart thing to do to a young girl."
When asked if there was any truth to claims in the letter, Dina came to her daughter's defense saying, "Lindsay was in 105 (degree weather) saying, 'Mommy, I feel sick; like I am going to faint.' She took herself to the hospital. She has asthma and in extreme cold or heat you can't breathe."
Dina added, "…I'm a mother and will do what I need to do to protect my child…I don't feel it should be aired out and everyone should know. It's personal."
When asked about accusations in the letter that Lindsay's "…ongoing all night heavy partying" was responsible for her not showing up on set, Dina said, "Lindsay gets to work late, OK… She's a human being. There was one day when she was late and they worked the schedule around her. Garry (Marshall, the film's director), Jane (Fonda, her co-star), everybody loves her."
In regards to Lindsay's status, Dina told Access Hollywood, "As far as Lindsay's health is concerned, she's fine and she is back on set." Dina added to Bush, "She will win an Academy Award for this picture… Justice!"
Geri's Reconciliation
Geri Halliwell has reconciled with the father of her baby, against the wishes of her mother.
The 33-year-old star gave birth to daughter Bluebell Madonna in May, but until now has refused to let the film producer father, Sacha Gervasi, see his baby.
Geri has now had a change of heart but her mum, Anna Maria, has reportedly told her to stay away from him.
A source told Closer magazine: "Anna Maria's keen to keep Geri away from Sacha, until she's got used to being a mother.
"She's not terribly pleased that Geri has agreed to let Sacha see Bluebell, and is trying to talk her out of it.
"She is delighted Geri has taken to motherhood so effortlessly, and is afraid Sacha's presence will complicate things."
Geri fell pregnant after a brief fling with Sacha last year, but ended the relationship.
Sacha, who once had a £200-a-day heroin habit, flew to Britain to see his daughter just after she was born, but was refused access.
Geri's friend added: "Geri and Sacha have rowed a lot over the past few months, and she's got fed up with it. She's now realised Sacha has to meet his daughter, and he should be a part of little Bluebell's life."
Bass Might Be Off The Hook
DON'T expect Lance Bass and his lover Reichen Lehmkuhl to be together much longer. Friends of Bass say he's sick of Lehmkuhl's controlling ways. "Reichen forced Lance to come out just at the same time he has a book coming out ['Here's What We'll Say'] so he could ride the publicity wave," said our spy. "He is a big gay activist and very controlling. He wants Lance to give up his straight friends and do whatever he tells him to." Lehmkuhl has taken every opportunity to go on-air. He told "The Insider," "I'm happy it's shocking people . . . I couldn't be more proud of Lance. It's definitely a sense of relief. There are a lot more smiles. We are so happy about it." A rep for Bass skirted the issue and said: "Lance couldn't be happier with the overwhelming reaction he's getting from all over the world."

But in a spooky coincidence he was sitting scribbling lyrics in a New York park when he was moved on by a film crew and it turned out they were shooting the film he'd snubbed. Johnny, 26, said: "They wanted me to play a musician but we were making the album. I went out to New York to write lyrics and was sitting in Washington Square when they told me to move. I realised it was the same film people."

Ronaldo Gets Bodyguard
Cristiano Ronaldo will be protected by a minder when he meets Wayne Rooney today. The cheating winger will come face to face with England star Rooney for the first time since his shameful antics for Portugal in the World Cup quarter final.
And he will have a bodyguard in tow when he turns up at Manchester United's Carrington training complex today.
United's stars arrived for training an hour early last week because they were so eager to see the pair's first meeting but they were unaware Ronaldo, 21, had been given an extra week off by boss Alex Ferguson.
Neverland In Tokyo Move
Michael Jackson's Neverland fairground is being transported to Tokyo. The megastar has sold the California park's rides to a mystery businessman.
And they'll be taken to Japan to form the centre-piece of a "Wacko Jacko" theme park. Jackson, 47, has sold all 16 of his rides for a cut-price £300,000 - six times less than he paid for them.
They include a Ferris wheel, a giant roller-coaster and a go-kart track.
Jackson's favourites were the Wave Swinger, with seats attached to long chains and The Spider, a twisting ride he called "The Puke Bucket."
Jackson's Los Angeles spokeswoman refused to name the buyer of the rides but she confirmed that he is expected to start transporting them to Tokyo next month.
Hoff's Huff
David Hasselhoff became "The Huff" after being spurned by sexy Brit model Vikki Thomas.
The ex-Baywatch star hit the headlines over a series of drunken incidents while his divorce was being finalised.
But pals say he was also upset after his sexy advances were rejected by Vikki during filming for a new TV advert.
He poured out his heart to the bikini babe about his unhappiness at being a single man again. And even told friends he thought Vikki might be marriage material.
One said: "He saw in Vikki the potential to be the next Mrs Hasselhoff but sadly it wasn't to be - despite his flirting. With the divorce and everything else to deal with it was just another in a long line of woes."
And Vikki, 27, admitted they teased each other but added: "He did seem alone. He needs a new girl by his side to make him whole again and I hope he finds the right girl soon. That isn't me though!"
Jen's Engagement Off
Jennifer Ellison has broken off her engagement after a series of blazing rows with fiance Tony Richardson.
The actress, 23, has recently been spotted without her engagement ring. And pals say the pair have had huge arguments at their home in Cheshire.
A pal of Jennifer's said: "They have been fighting like cat and dog. Jennifer is very feisty but so is Tony so they have blazing rows. They've been through a very rough patch over the past few weeks and Tony is on his lact chance. Jennifer has taken off her engagement ring to show how series she is."
The arguments are believed to have started after Jennifer spent weeks away during her second stint playing Roxie.
Jennifer's relationship with Tony has been under strain before. His brother was shot in a gangland feud over drugs. Then her family home was shot at and two huge fireworks were hurled under her car.
And the couple came under more pressure when a £50,000 bounty was put on Tony's head after he was wrongly accused of being a police informant.

"Mel Gibson was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. He was released later this morning. The investigation was still ongoing, just like it would be with any other person," a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
McCartney divorce gets nastier
Paul McCartney has blamed Heather Mills' "unreasonable behaviour" for their marriage split.
As formal divorce proceedings began this week, the former Beatle is said to have described Mills as "argumentative" and "rude to staff".
Despite his claims, McCartney has told friends that he wants the divorce to be as simple as possible so he will be able to make a "clean break".
A friend told The Mirror, "He has stipulated there will be no tears and tantrums, just a clean break. Paul just wants to get this over as quickly and cleanly as possible and put the whole sorry episode behind him."
A spokesperson for Heather has admitted that the former model is unhappy with her estranged husband's claims and will file court papers which tell her side of the story.
"Heather's going to be filing her own counter-claims about matters both in this country and America," she said. "Any view she has on her divorce will be handled discreetly. She does not feel the need to repudiate claims that she may be headstrong or feisty.
"She is hugely disappointed that matters of such a confidential nature should be aired in public and feels it is inappropriate to speak about such delicate matters when a child is involved."
Moore & Roddick renew their romance
Mandy Moore and Andy Roddick have prompted rumours of a reunion after they were spotted getting close over lunch.
The tennis pro and his actress girlfriend broke up in 2004 after nearly two years together, but recently met up again for lunch at the W hotel in Los Angeles.
According to sources, the pair were spotted talking animatedly throughout their meal.
Nikki Gets Colin Farrell's Number
Nikki scored Colin Farrell's phone number while attending the Miami Vice premiere.
The model managed to impress the actor as they chatted about Nikki's own plans to visit Miami in the future.
A source said, "Colin thought Nikki was really cute. He didn't know who she was so he laughed and asked her to give him her number. She said she'd text him so that he'd have it saved on his phone properly and in doing so she got his number - although he seemed more than eager to give it to her.
"Colin told her the best way to do America wasn't by languishing in Miami. He said he'd take her on an epic bike ride. His idea was to travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas through Death Valley. Nikki giggled that it sounded scary but Colin said it'd be exhilarating."
Busy summer for Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt has a busy Hollywood summer lined up, leading off with a reprise of his "Ocean's Eleven" role in Steven Soderbergh's "Ocean's Thirteen."
Then comes Warner Bros.' "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," from a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Variety said.
Pitt is also set to set in the "Sparrow", and considering Universal's "State of Play," an Americanized adaptation of an acclaimed British TV miniseries.
Christina Milian smacked by Eva Longoria
Christina Milian was convinced she broke her nose when she was smacked in the face by Eva Longoria during a recent music video shoot.
Milian was starring in the promo for Jessica Simpson's latest single A Public Affair, along with Simpson, Longoria and Christina Applegate, when she was accidentally struck.
She explains, "There was this one moment where we had this little dance we had to do with our hands and I think they put it in the video.
"(Eva) accidentally hit me so hard in my nose. Unbelievably hard - I felt like I broke my nose!
"She's a sweet girl. I know she didn't mean it. But it did definitely hurt."
Getting Steamy in "Miami"
Colin Farrell has never really been one for tact and when promoting his new film, "Miami Vice," he held little back when talking about filming sex scenes with Gong Li.
"It was a great day at the office...I got to kiss Gong Li and be somewhat naked with her," said the Irish actor between cigarette drags. Farrell also took a jab at actors who skirt around press questions about shooting this type of scene, saying "You try to respect the other person...f*** that, respect is overrated."
Farrell's co-star Jamie Foxx has a sex scene of his own with "Pirates of the Caribbean" hottie Naomie Harris, which required him to wear next to nothing. "I wore a sock with a bow on it, just to lighten the mood for Naomie because she was a little nervous."
'28 Weeks Later' plot details revealed
Fox Atomic, an offshoot of 20th Century Fox, have revealed information about the sequel to hit film 28 Days Later.
Their press release states: "The film picks up six months after the Rage virus has decimated the city of London. The U.S. Army has restored order and is repopulating the quarantined city, when a carrier of the Rage virus enters London and unknowingly re-ignites the spread of the deadly infection, wreaking havoc on the entire population."
Directed by Spaniard Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, the project will not involve 28 Days Later star Cillian Murphy. However, creators Danny Boyle, Alex Garland and Andrew Macdonald will return to work on the sequel.
The film is scheduled for release in May 2007.
Russell signs on for new Tarantino flick
Kurt Russell is the latest star to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino's new slasher film Death Proof.
The iconic director made the announcement at the recent Comic-Con convention in San Diego.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tarantino said: "I've always wanted to work with Kurt Russell. One of the things that was so great about his John Carpenter movies is the fact that there are a lot of serious actors who wouldn't do them. There's a playfulness about him going that way."
Russell will play the character of Stunt Man Mike in the movie, which is the second half of a double feature Tarantino is working on with Sin City director Robert Rodriguez.
Death Proof will also feature Zoe Bell, Rosario Dawson, Vanessa Ferlito, Jordan Ladd and Sydney Tamiia Poitier, among others. The film is due to be released in April next year.
Johansson bruised during lap dance
Scarlett Johansson was injured when a birthday lap dance turned aggressive.
The actress was celebrating her 21st birthday when her brother convinced her to visit a strip club, a venue Johansson was not expecting to attend.
She said "When I turned 20 I had a birthday at Disneyland, but this year my brother wanted to go to a strip club so we went there instead.
"So we got there and somebody ordered me a lap dance. At first I was like, 'No, no, no and then I was like, 'OK, I will.' I had this very tall girl, she was Amazonian. She was like this tall really, really skinny girl and quite manic and strange.
"She was kind of gyrating into me. She was so thin her pelvic or hipbone or some kind of bone bruised me."

Reports yesterday claimed the music executive is having an affair with 21-year-old Jasmine Lennard, the model having been spotted leaving his home in London. But Cowell insists that girlfriend Terri Seymour has no cause for concern.
"Jasmine is just a friend. There were other people at the house too. Terri has absolutely nothing to worry about," he commented.
Model Lennard has also spoken out to the same effect: "Simon is a good friend, we were discussing work. We have been friends for some time. (Current boyfriend) Mark's not worried about this at all. He knows there is nothing going on".

Timberlake makes a move on Nadine
Jesse Metcalfe has revealed that Justin Timberlake recently tried to chat up his girlfriend Nadine Coyle.
Timberlake has been in a relationship with actress Cameron Diaz but a recent encounter with the Girls Aloud star seems to support rumours that he is eager to get back on the dating scene.
The Desperate Housewives actor said: "She was out at some club in London and I guess Justin Timberlake was chatting her up, making some moves and trying to pour her drinks. She told him she had a boyfriend, of course, but hey, you know, I wasn't there so I don't know the real story."
Whilst he was shocked by the 'SexyBack' singer's behaviour, Metcalfe noted that he could take it as a compliment. He continued: "At least she's getting hit on by Justin Timberlake! That makes me feel good!"
Kasabian & Kaisers "best of friends"
Kasabian have insisted they are not fighting with the Kaiser Chiefs.
Reports have circulated that the band's frontman Tom Meighan threatened counterpart Ricky Wilson at Dublin's Oxegen festival earlier in the month. But Meighan has laughed off the rumours, saying: "That's absolute rubbish. I know Ricky Wilson well and it really hurts. We get on. When people quote me saying I'm going to smash his face in, that's wrong because I didn't say that.
"I was asked what I thought of comments he apparently made and I said I would be disappointed if he had said that. Ricky is a nice guy and we bump into the Kaiser Chiefs on tour all the time, just like we bump into a whole bunch of bands on the road. "It's horrible when stories are blown out of proportion. Ricky will know those quotes are rubbish. People just want to create a feud that doesn't exist."
