  • No Privacy for Lance Bass at Gay Bar

How much privacy should onetime *NSYNC star Lance Bass expect when he visits a prominent gay bar with a prominent gay star?

On Wednesday, The New York Post's Page Six column reported that Bass had been spotted with "Amazing Race" star Reichen Lehmkuhl at Atlantic House, a gay bar in Provincetown, Mass.

Following the Post report, a blog on the Washington Blade, a leading newspaper for the gay and lesbian community, said that Bass had been outed.

Through his spokeswoman, Cindy Owen, Bass, 27, declined to comment on the report. Lehmkuhl's spokeswoman, Mara Santino, also declined to comment on the Post report.

Certainly, simply visiting a gay club doesn't confirm that you are gay. But historically, mainstream media have restrained from exposing the sexual orientation of celebrities who have chosen to keep that side of themselves personal. Some gay activists condemn the Post and other media outlets for speculating about Bass' sexual orientation.

"Coming out is a personal, private decision that needs to be made by the individual," said Damon Romine, entertainment media director of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. "Media speculation about people's sexual orientation is not something we support."

  • Joanna Krupa Interview

Joanna Krupa's popularity has soared in the last year and has been declared the Sexiest Woman in the World by an assortment of polls recently, so we thought we’d jump on the bandwagon and declare her the Sexiest Woman in the Universe.

Joanna was voted “2005 Model of the Year”, and has been named as one of the most requested cover stars, alongside Gisele Bündchen, Jessica Alba, Adriana Lima, Angelina Jolie, Josie Maran and Ana Beatriz.

In addition to gracing the pages of world-renowned magazines, Joanna has appeared in a number of exciting upcoming film and television projects. She will soon light up the big screen in "Skinner Box", alongside Lost star Josh Holloway.

Other movie credits include Scott Caan’s "The Dog Problem", in which she will act alongside Giovanni Ribisi; "Ripple Effect" with Minnie Driver, Virginia Madsen, Forest Whitaker, and Kip Pardue.

Joanna’s modeling campaigns include Sketchers (with Christina Aguilera); Physicians Formula, SportMax, Freya, Yamaha, ATandT, Guess, Vintage Chic, Felina, Dior, Bauer, Millington, Beachbunny Swimwear and Frederick’s.

With hearts pounding and glasses steamed up, we navigated our way through the small puddles of drool that seem to surround her wherever she goes, and risked cardiac arrest to bring you this interview.

Music was playing in the background so the two of us were face to face with a recorder capturing our voices. Unfortunately for those of you reading, you can’t quite capture the essence or hear the laughter, but just perhaps between the interview below, you’ll catch a glimpse at what makes her so charming.

BN: I spoke with your agents and you won’t believe what they said about you. They said you’re sexy and you’re innocent.

    JK: I am? (Laughs).

BN: And it’s an unusual combination in this business. So what do you attribute your success to?

JK: I don’t know, I think it just comes from my background. I do what I do. I do make sexy pictures. I take sexy pictures and I do sometimes have to wear sexy outfits, but I think I still have that little girl inside of me.

BN: You do, I saw you tugging at your outfit.

JK: (Laughs), yeah it's not really something I would normally choose to wear.

BN: How does it feel to be called the Sexiest Woman in the World?

JK: It's very flattering, but I mean I don't really get caught up with that stuff. I definitely don’t see myself that way.

BN: How have your family and friends reacted to your sexy image and the attention that you get?

JK: My dad, you know, he doesn't really comment much about it. My sisters are very proud of me. My family and my friends know who I am, they know what kind of person I am, so just because I do, you know, sexy pictures, doesn't mean that I walk around in sexy outfits every day. I'm just a normal, everyday girl.

BN: Do you have a regular beauty regimen?

JK: I just do the basics. Just pink and white on the nails. Facials once in a blue moon and microdermabrasion once a year. I use a moisturizer (Pathenol Protein Moisturizing face cream) that contains protein, Vitamins A and E and beta-carotine. It’s not that expensive and it moisturizes my face better than the really expensive stuff. I use it both for day and night. I always use sunscreen. For my hair I use volumizing shampoo. I had my teeth whitened three years ago and should probably do it again. I’m pretty low maintenance, actually.

    Krupainterview

BN: You have the prettiest eyes. What color are they?

JK: Thank you. I think they change colors. I don’t know if it has to do anything with mood or what but they’re blue, green sometimes grey.

BN: I don’t think I’ve ever seen eyes that color. They’re beautiful.

JK: Thank you sweetheart. You’re adorable.

BN: How do you like LA?

JK: I have a love-hate relationship with LA. It's hard there. It's took me a long time to find a core of friends there, particularly girlfriends. I just don't really let people in easily. Even in school I only had few girlfriends and now I only have a few close girlfriends, most of my friends are guys.

BN: How do you deal with Hollywood B.S.?

JK: There are just so many people out there that, are willing to sleep there way up and do anything to get whatever they want, to get as much fame as they can and it's just not me. I don't know how they can do it because I know if it was me I just wouldn't feel like myself. I would feel disrespected and I would feel disgusting with myself.

BN: Are there actresses and actors who are currently big stars that slept their way
    to the top?

JK: Oh, for sure! I've heard so many stories. It's so sick. It's really sick.

BN: Can you give us some names?

JK: No, I'm not going to mention names and get myself killed (Laughs).

    KrupaInterview1

BN: Do you have a nickname?

JK: Some of my friends call me JoJo and my ex-boyfriend calls me Boo Boo.

BN: That’s way too fluffy. You need a fearsome nickname like “Krupa The Destroyer.”

    JK: (Laughs) Yeah.

BN: What do you have coming up?

JK: I just shot the PETA anti-fur campaign. I'm going to be shooting another international campaign. I have a huge Dior & Dollhouse campaign coming out. And I have some scripts that I'm reading.

BN: The Pre-Oscar Bash. This last year there were 2 hosts and now, you’re going to be hosting it by yourself, does that make you a little nervous?

JK: It does because it’s such a huge event. With millions of people, it’s broadcast in over 80 countries. It’s going to be a lot of work and a lot of pressure.

BN: Have you ever been starstruck?

JK: You know what? I don't really, being around LA most of my life, I really don't get starstruck anymore. I don't think I've ever been starstruck because everybody's a person, we all come and go the same way. It's just a business that we chose to be in -- just because you're famous doesn't mean you have to be treated any better.

  • Diane Lane chops off hair for charity

Diane Lane has cut off all her hair on live television in order to contribute to a wig for a women's cancer charity.

The actress appeared on US morning programme Today to support the Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign, which encourages people to donate healthy hair to make wigs for women who have lost theirs due to cancer treatment.

The star of Under the Tuscan Sun said: "I've always wanted to cut my hair short and nobody would ever let me. In movies they always want Pantene gorgeous hair. You just want to help people with cancer and you have a natural resource that only you can give. It's for a beautiful, beautiful cause."

  • Jack Black quits his party lifestyle

Jack Black has given up his party lifestyle since getting married and becoming a dad.

"People stop me in the store and scream at me, 'Let's party dude I've got pot and beer'. I never really know what to say," said the School of Rock star.

Although Black realises he only has himself to blame, "It's really my own fault that I give off this crazy 'let's party and wrestle' vibe."

"I'm starting to go to bed at a reasonable hour. I have to get up and do things now," he said.

Moreover, Black is cutting down on his vices. "I even quit smoking two days ago. I've been quitting on and off for the last 10 years but this time I'm going to have to quit for real."

  • Kate's Super-cheek at London premiere

Kate Bosworth opted for a jaw-dropping backless mini dress at the premiere for her latest movie

The scoop-backed sequinned Gucci frock covered not one inch of her back.

Instead the red and black creation was alarmingly low cut. When the American star stooped to pose with fans and sign autographs, a rather embarrassing expanse of bottom was clearly in evidence.

Unfazed the young platinum blonde actress spent 45 minutes working the red carpet.

In Superman Returns, Bosworth plays intrepid reporter Lois Lane opposite US newcomer, Brandon Routh.

Kevin Spacey stars as Superman's nemesis, the evil Lex Luthor. Although guests were instructed to be inside the cinema by 7.15pm, the Oscar winning star arrived fashionably late and swanned down the red carpet a full 20 minutes later.

However, unlike his female co-star, he was more sedately dressed in a smart dark suit.

  • Eviction shock for Nikki

The bookies got it right with their prediction - wannabe model and footballer's wife Nikki has been booted out of the Big Brother house.

As the result of the viewers' vote was announced, Nikki was in tears.

William Hill had been offering odds of 8/11 on the 24-year-old being the seventh person to be evicted.

So what next for Nikki? Big Brother fan and presenter of Britain's next Top Model Lisa Snowden doesn't think she would cut it in the fashion world.

"She wouldn't last five minutes on my show. She's a little small to start with," she said. "And moans a little too much," she added with a giggle.

All the housemates bar Jayne were up for eviction. It follows Jayne's gaffe in breaking the rules by talking about her impressions of the housemates prior to joining the show.

  • Jen: Vince is better in bed than Brad

Jennifer Aniston has slammed her ex-husband Brad Pitt by saying he was a flop in the sack.
To make matters worse for Brad, Jen has been singing the praises of her new fiancé Vince Vaughn, admitting he’s better in bed than any of her previous partners.

“Hands down, Vince is the best lover Jen says she’s ever had,” says an insider. Friends confirm the star never gushed about Brad the way she does about Vince. “She giggles, saying how great he is, in and out of the bedroom,” one friend says.

Another source reveals, “Jen says Vince is a real man. He understands her needs sexually and emotionally. She says she’s never had that before.”

During a girlie night Jen shared with her best pals, conversation turned to their love-lives. But though the ladies confided in each other about their favourite bed buddies, Brad’s name wasn’t mentioned.

“Contrary to what a lot of people think, Jen really has moved on from Brad,” says a source. In fact she’s moved on so much, she’s already planning her next wedding. After Vince’s proposal in Paris last month, the pair have been eagerly discussing their upcoming nuptials.

It’s believed Jen, 37, has told Vince, 36, she wants their ceremony to be as different as possible from her first trip down the aisle. “Jen says she doesn’t need another star-studded wedding,” says a pal. “She wants it to be all about her and Vince.”

Despite wanting to move on, one reminder of her ex-hubby will be present on the big day – Brad’s mum. Jennifer and Jane Pitt became such good friends, Jane was one of the first people she invited.

“Jane said there’s no way on earth she’d miss it,” says an insider. “She still considers Jen her daughter.” Also on the guest list is Brad’s sister Julie, who Jen has also remained close to.

Although Jen and Vince are yet to set a date to tie the knot, they don’t plan on waiting too long before their union becomes official.

“I’d like it sooner rather than later,” Jennifer reportedly told Julie.

  • hush hush

Which incredibly well-endowed movie star has rasied a whopping great smile? The actor had lads and lasses in the costume department falling about laughing when he turned up on the set of his latest film. He asked them for special pants with lots of "extra space" to accommodate his huge member.

  • Spice Day Out

Geri Halliwell and her former fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton looked red hot when they went to a tea party at Buckingham Palace in honour of the Princes Trust.

And after all the ups and downs these one-time bandmates have suffered, it was great to see them smiling broadly.

Emma, 30, was all white in a cute dress that harked back to the days when we knew her as baby while new mum Geri, 34, opted for a low cut look.

An onlooker said: "Geri and Emma were having a hoot and looked as though they were still very close friends."

  • Jen's Smile Is Just The Ticket

Good for Jennifer Ellison for laughing things off after they went seriously pear-shaped on a night out on the town.

The 23-year-old was all smiles despite losing her car-park ticket in central London.

An onlooker said: "Jennifer had been to the theatre and walked back to the car-park but she had lost her ticket.

The attendant told her she'd have to find it or pay a huge fee so she went back to the theatre and eventually located it. But it took her more than an hour in the end.
