  • Love Island's New Girls

It's getting hotter than the UK heatwave on Love Island.

One more singleton has left paradise - and some more new playmates have arrived.

Lady Victoria Hervey was voted out, just as romance seemed to be blossoming with Chris Brosnan.

He said: "I feel like I have lost a very good friend, and also what seemed to be a potential girlfriend."

But just 24 hours later he seemed to have moved on, saying: "I am missing Victoria... But there is a part of me that would love a piece of Colleen (Shannon)."

With Lee, Paul Danan and Chris all pursuing Colleen, it's a good job the Love Island people have sent in some new blood in the shape of Emily Scott, an Aussie swimwear model, and glamour twins Eve and Emma Ryan.

On arriving, Emily said: "Hopefully there will be someone fun to play with... Paul's quite cheeky isn't he?"

Meanwhile, the twins revealed: "We want to give Paul a twin sandwich."

But Eve added: "We both actually do like Shane (Lynch), but we think it's a case of what you can't have."

Talking of what you can't have, lovelorn Sophie Anderton and the object of her desire, Shane, have sorted out the tension between them - sort of.

Shane told Soph: "I think you're an amazing girl and don't want our friendship to be weirded out... I just want to make sure... we can crack on as friends."

So, how did she take it? Oddly, she said: "I wasn't interested in you in that way, we are totally on the same page."

However, later in the beach hut, Sophie confided: "When we leave here it's something that could happen, it's just not going to happen right now."

  • Lionel Richie A 'Basket Case' Over Nicole

Lionel Richie says rumors about his daughter Nicole's rail-thin physique are especially painful to him.

"I'll be honest with you, it hurts me more than it hurts her," the 57-year-old singer tells TV's Access Hollywood in an interview set to air Monday night. "I'm more sensitive. I take it more so personal ... I must tell you, I'm the basket case."

Nicole, 24, herself said in the June issue of Vanity Fair, "I know I'm too thin right now." She also said she's been working with a nutritionist, psychiatrist and trainer in an effort to gain weight.

The elder Richie, whose new album, Coming Home, is due in September, says he's spoken to Nicole about her health. "What are fathers for if you can't point the finger every once in a while?" he says. "The good part of it is she is aware of it. ... She has heard this all her life from me so this is just a continuation of the reminder."

As for the Simple Life star's current condition, her father says, "She is doing great."

  • Leonardo DiCapr-Hero

Leonardo DiCaprio came to the rescue of a wheelchair-bound fan at a Madonna concert.

The 'Titanic' star rushed to help Francesco Clark, after he got into difficulty when the crowd surged forward and almost toppled him out of his chair at the singer's Madison Square Garden show last week.

Clark's friend, writer Elisa Lipsky-Karasz revealed to America's New York Post newspaper: "Francesco couldn't see anything because people were all standing around him. He tried to move to the front, but no one would budge, and nobody cared. Then the security guard come over and was being rude and told him to move.

"At that point, Leo came over and said, 'Why don't you come sit with me and I'll just move over.'"

Clark - who was involved in a car accident which left him a quadriplegic, and now runs the Clark's Botanicals skin-care company - took up the star's kind offer and moved into the area which was located directly in front of a no-standing zone.

DiCaprio also extended his generous invitation to another wheelchair-bound fan who was struggling to get a good view of the stage.

A source told the New York Post: "The bartender spots him chatting on his phone, and asks him to take it in the lobby because there are no phones allowed in the bar and restaurant areas. He doesn't respond, so she tells him louder and points to the lobby."

"Ten minutes later, he does it again, and she leans in and says, 'I just told you to take it to the lobby.' He then tried to flirt with her and make eyes at her and she said flatly, 'That doesn't work with me. Just don't do it, please,'" the source continued.

When Ritchie split with Tania Strecker, whom Robbie later went on to date, he reportedly told her "Look, you know I really love you, but she's Madonna."

A music industry source said: "It seems Robbie always had this conversation in the back of his mind for a song. Probably without realising the subject matter behind the song, Madge gave She's Madonna the thumbs-up when Robbie personally played it to her at her London home earlier this summer.

"No doubt he'll be keeping his fingers crossed that she'll agree to appear in the video when it's a single early next year."
