The Signs actor was pulled over by a Sheriff's deputy yesterday in Malibu at 2:36am, after he was seen speeding.

  • McCartney divorce gets nastier

Paul McCartney has blamed Heather Mills' "unreasonable behaviour" for their marriage split.

As formal divorce proceedings began this week, the former Beatle is said to have described Mills as "argumentative" and "rude to staff".

Despite his claims, McCartney has told friends that he wants the divorce to be as simple as possible so he will be able to make a "clean break".

A friend told The Mirror, "He has stipulated there will be no tears and tantrums, just a clean break. Paul just wants to get this over as quickly and cleanly as possible and put the whole sorry episode behind him."

A spokesperson for Heather has admitted that the former model is unhappy with her estranged husband's claims and will file court papers which tell her side of the story.

"Heather's going to be filing her own counter-claims about matters both in this country and America," she said. "Any view she has on her divorce will be handled discreetly. She does not feel the need to repudiate claims that she may be headstrong or feisty.

"She is hugely disappointed that matters of such a confidential nature should be aired in public and feels it is inappropriate to speak about such delicate matters when a child is involved."

  • Moore & Roddick renew their romance

Mandy Moore and Andy Roddick have prompted rumours of a reunion after they were spotted getting close over lunch.

According to sources, the pair were spotted talking animatedly throughout their meal.

  • Nikki Gets Colin Farrell's Number

Nikki scored Colin Farrell's phone number while attending the Miami Vice premiere.

The model managed to impress the actor as they chatted about Nikki's own plans to visit Miami in the future.

A source said, "Colin thought Nikki was really cute. He didn't know who she was so he laughed and asked her to give him her number. She said she'd text him so that he'd have it saved on his phone properly and in doing so she got his number - although he seemed more than eager to give it to her.

"Colin told her the best way to do America wasn't by languishing in Miami. He said he'd take her on an epic bike ride. His idea was to travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas through Death Valley. Nikki giggled that it sounded scary but Colin said it'd be exhilarating."

  • Busy summer for Brad Pitt

Then comes Warner Bros.' "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," from a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Variety said.

Pitt is also set to set in the "Sparrow", and considering Universal's "State of Play," an Americanized adaptation of an acclaimed British TV miniseries.

  • Christina Milian smacked by Eva Longoria

Christina Milian was convinced she broke her nose when she was smacked in the face by Eva Longoria during a recent music video shoot.

Milian was starring in the promo for Jessica Simpson's latest single A Public Affair, along with Simpson, Longoria and Christina Applegate, when she was accidentally struck.

She explains, "There was this one moment where we had this little dance we had to do with our hands and I think they put it in the video.

"(Eva) accidentally hit me so hard in my nose. Unbelievably hard - I felt like I broke my nose!

"She's a sweet girl. I know she didn't mean it. But it did definitely hurt."

  • Getting Steamy in "Miami"

Colin Farrell has never really been one for tact and when promoting his new film, "Miami Vice," he held little back when talking about filming sex scenes with Gong Li.

"It was a great day at the office...I got to kiss Gong Li and be somewhat naked with her," said the Irish actor between cigarette drags. Farrell also took a jab at actors who skirt around press questions about shooting this type of scene, saying "You try to respect the other person...f*** that, respect is overrated."

Farrell's co-star Jamie Foxx has a sex scene of his own with "Pirates of the Caribbean" hottie Naomie Harris, which required him to wear next to nothing. "I wore a sock with a bow on it, just to lighten the mood for Naomie because she was a little nervous."
