Franchise producer Jerry Weintraub built the ultra-hip, private poker lounge ("The Ocean's Club") just for his cast. "This was inspired by Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack," Weintraub said. "Guys that I hung around with all my life who made the original 'Ocean's 11.' "

"This is our booze joint over here," Weintraub showed us. "It's a great bar, real New York kind of bar, all the guys love it. This is my drink of choice, Grey Goose orange vodka, which I love. And we don't drive after we drink. We have cars and drivers."

Jerry also showed us the lounge's poker table, which is a favorite for Brad, George and Matt. "The guys all love to play poker," Weintraub said. "Brad liked this most of all. These are great chips that our executive producer had made for us. These are the Ocean's chips."

Warner Brothers has confirmed that Heath Ledger will play The Joker in the next Batman film.

The Brokeback Mountain star will appear with Christian Bale in The Dark Night, scheduled to go into production in 2007. It will be the first appearance of The Joker in the series since Jack Nicholson's 1989 portrayal.

Helena Bonham Carter will play Bellatrix Lestrange in the next Harry Potter film.

The Oscar nominee's new role is as Death Eater and madwoman Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Other well-known members of the cast include Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon and Gary Oldman, who will reprise his role as Sirius Black, godfather to Harry and cousin to Bellatrix.

Superman Returns director Bryan Singer has secured a massive contract to develop new shows for television channel ABC.

In a deal reported to have reached the seven-figures mark, Singer will work on three new scripts, one of which is assured to be a pilot that he will helm.

Talking about his newfound enthusiasm for medium of television, the director explained to The Hollywood Reporter: "You put something together in a quick time frame and get to create something that could have a long-lasting effect. [Also] television has an organic quality to it. Movies are pretty set. TV shows are open-ended, they can evolve over time."

His previous television experience includes developing sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica and also directed and produced episodes of the hit show House.

The Pussycat Dolls are to add a new group member as part of a new reality show in the US.

The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll - airing on new network The CW - will see the band expand from six members to seven.

A national casting call has already begun, inviting applications from females who can sing and dance with confidence.

Over the course of the show, contestants will "learn to express their femininity with both confidence and poise through performance, and discover that in every woman there's a Pussycat Doll."

Gary Lineker is divorced by ex-wife Michelle on the grounds of his "unreasonable behaviour".

The couple originally separated in April, saying the split was amicable. However, documents before the court stated that Lineker had caused his wife "stress and anxiety," and asked that Michelle be granted a decree nisi "dissolving my marriage with the respondent on the ground stated in my petition and to order the respondent to pay the costs of this suit”.

According to the documents, Lineker will leave the couple's home and live elsewhere, enabling his wife and four children to remain on the property.

Singer and actress Hilary Duff took the stage of Crown Coliseum here Tuesday night in a free concert for military families.

Duff, the multi-platinum recording artist and star of movies such as "A Cinderella Story," performed "Hilary Duff Rocks for the Troops" in Fayetteville, home of Fort Bragg.

Those in attendance were either in the military or have a military family member. Duff has previously made a block of tickets available for military families but decided this time to perform just for them.

"I think she understands, or at least wants to try to understand, the sacrifices soldiers and their families make," said Cynthia Ivins, who brought her two children, 13-year-old Morgan and 9-year-old Denise, to the concert.

Duff met with a select group of military families before the show, snapping pictures and shaking hands. More than 7,000 people attended the concert.

Singer and actor Aaron Carter is fine after being hospitalized earlier this week, his spokeswoman Roxanne Romero said. Carter had "a minor surfing accident" in San Diego and is "recovering nicely at home" in Los Angeles.
