Kasabian have announced that they will play a huge arena tour of the UK this winter.

The Leicester band will start the 11 date tour with two hometown gigs on December 5 and 6, and finish at Earl's Court in London on December 19.

The tour will promote their new record, Empire, released on August 28.

Ashley Cole and Cheryl Tweedy are to star in a Newlyweds-style documentary together.

The couple have been followed by cameras since they tied the knot last month, for a six-part series which will air on ITV1 in November.

A source said: "The series is taking four months to film - and will show how romantic Ashley is. And fans will be able to see how down-to-earth the couple are. They're just a couple of ordinary people living amazing lives.

"They've accepted there will be embarrassing bits, but they're happy to show what goes on in their day-to-day world as the new Posh and Becks."

Kerry Katona has bought a row of terraced houses in Warrington for £150K.

The former Atomic Kitten star is keen to get on the property market, as well as giving something back to her hometown by renting out the homes at low cost.

A source close to the star said, "Warrington will always have a special place in Kerry's heart. She feels this is the ideal chance for her to help the town she loves."

Resident Geoff Whelan added, "Kerry is a good ambassador for Warrington. She is popular here. The area needs a kick up the backside and if Kerry wants to spend her money doing that - then good luck to her."

Fiancée of Steven Gerrard and fully signed up member of the Wags Alex Curran has been arrested after an alleged brawl outside a Liverpool restaurant.

The sometime fashion columnist was reportedly involved in a fight between a group of men and women at the Shangri-La restaurant in the early hours of this morning.

The 23-year-old mother-of-two had been enjoying a night out with the Liverpool FC captain and two friends, but Gerrard had left the restaurant at the time of the alleged fight.

An 18-year-old woman is said to have sustained a black eye. Her friend told the Liverpool Echo: "It was horrible. We were just having a meal after a night out and there was a fight in the restaurant.

"My mate stood up and started screaming for them to stop fighting and one of the blokes came over to her and was really abusive. He was swearing and ranting and knocked her bag off the table.

"A couple of seconds later someone came over and shoved a bottle in her face."

A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said: "We have arrested a 23-year-old woman, from Formby, on suspicion of assault.

"The arrest follows an incident at the Shangri-La restaurant on Victoria Street during the early hours of this morning."

A spokeswoman for Alex Curran, who has been released on bail, said: "This is now a matter for the police and we cannot make any further comment at this stage."

Gerrard and Curran have been engaged since 2004 and plan to marry next summer.

Keanu Reeves was pulled over by Airport Police at Los Angeles International Airport today for a traffic violation, but escaped with only a warning.

It's not the biggest crime in the world certainly, but anything that goes down at airports these days is eventful. Reeves was pulled over for allegedly violating California Vehicle Code 21453(a) -- failing to stop at a signal or, in common parlance, blowing a red light. It happened at 3:00 p.m. PT. The cop did not issue a citation and let Reeves go with a warning.

It's unclear what the "Matrix" star was doing at the airport, although we know he was on the upper level which is for departing passengers.

A rep for Reeves could not be reached for comment.
