Perry's Forgotten Friend
Matthew Perry got the shock of his life when he started talking to a sexy blonde at the Beja Cantina in Marina del Rey.
When he said it was a pleasure meeting her, she declared, "Don't you remember me? We dated for a while on your first season on Friends."
Perry stared at her and said, "Honey, I don't even remember my first season on Friends."
No Junk Food For Jake
Jake Gyllenhaal doesn't just go cycling to stay fit, he does his nutrition homework too.
Jake, 25, went on a fruit-buying spree at Bristol Farms grocery store in West Hollywood, a store spy reports: "Jake was carefully studying all the labels of the food he was buying and was even flagging over employees to ask them questions."

Kristin Cavallari yelping when someone accidentally stepped on the train of her dress. Oddly, many veteran Kristin watchers didn't recognize the Laguna Beach alum -- was it her new hair extensions or recent weight loss? ...

Kristen Bell, just outside the press tent, screaming to Pulse costar Christina Milian, "Come here, you have to see this -- it's K.Fed!" They watched his performance on a monitor, arm in arm -- that is, when Kristen wasn't imitating his dance moves ...
Those lucky (or smart) enough to take the Universal Studios VIP tour that day sitting in their tram in stunned silence when the tour guide pointed out Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom exiting Depp's blue SUV and heading for the backstage entrance. (The Gibson Theater -- the site of Teen Choice -- is on the Universal lot.) Once the tourists spotted Johnny and Orlando themselves and realized the guide wasn't kidding, pandemonium ensued ...
Industry types wondering why Jessica Alba's boyfriend, Cash Warren, felt the need to wear a jacket when everyone was roasting in the sun on the near 90-degree day ...
Sandra Bullock, who frequently complained of the heat in the outdoor VIP area, loudly interrupting Reese Witherspoon's post-win interview, saying that she wanted to "slap her" for not looking sweaty ...

Mario Lopez was hand-in-hand with a beautiful brunette. "They seemed to be happy together, laughing and staring at each other," said an eyewitness.
Pirates Upstage Teen Choice
Jessica Simpson cohosted with rumored boytoy Dane Cook; Nick Lachey was on hand to pick up an award. Kevin Federline made his world premiere rapping debut; Wilmer Valderrama won something.
The 2006 Teen Choice Awards were all kinds of awkward.
Not for everyone, though--Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest continued to bulldoze all competition, nabbing a leading seven surfboards, the resident trophy, at Fox's youth-centric award show.
Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom were both on hand to pick up the awards.
Lachey earned his surfboard in the category of Choice Music Love Song for "What's Left of Me," a ballad chronicling the fall-out from his marriage to Simpson.
"I just want to start off by saying, awkward, a little bit," Lachey said accepting his award. Even more awkward: The very audible "Take that, Jessica" shouted from the crowd.
It was Lachey's second award of the night, as he was also voted Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon, Male. His current paramour, MTV's Vanessa Minnillo, was up for a Choice TV Personality but lost out to Ashton Kutcher.
But his ex didn't go home empty-handed. Simpson nabbed the Choice Movie Breakout, Female, award for her Daisy Duke-donning portrayal in The Dukes of Hazzard.
Other notable wins included Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock's nod for Choice Liplock for their Lake House smooches, while Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn nabbed Choice Movie Chemistry for The Break-Up, which they accepted together via taped message.
Bloom took home the board for Choice Hottie.
On the TV side, The O.C. babes Rachel Bilson and Mischa Barton took home the Choice TV Actress, Drama, and Choice TV Actress awards, respectively, while Disney's surprise super hit High School Musical took home three nods, for Choice TV Show, Choice TV Chemistry and Choice TV Breakout Star for Zac Efron. Valderrama won for Choice TV Actor, Comedy, for Fox's defunct That '70s Show. (Funny how Fox shows, even the canceled ones, dominated the Fox-based award show.)
Fall Out Boy dominated the music scene, being named the Choice Music Rock Group and having "Dance, Dance" take home Choice Music Single and Choice Music Rock Track.
Rihanna was named the Choice Music Breakout.
Of course, there's already a prime contender for next year's title.
Kevin Federline made his performing world debut Sunday night, closing out the show with his upcoming single--from Federation Records, no less--"Lose Control." Wife Britney Spears was on hand to introduce her hubby.
"This show has been very good to me and my career over the years," she said, chomping on her ever-present chewing gum. "And I'm hoping that it will be as good to our next performer."
Federline's rap unsurprisingly included some choice lines about being a "superstar" and moving to "a new tax bracket." Surprisingly, the show-capping performance seems to be mildly well-received, with semi-praise begrudgingly heaped on the rapper for not making the performance the train wreck critics imagined--and maybe hoped for.
Jackass dude to write song about Jessica
ONLY a jackass would stoop to crude sexual innuendo about Jessica Simpson - and that's exactly what Chris Pontius, one of Johnny Knoxville's doofy daredevil stuntmen in the upcoming "Jackass: Number Two," has done.
A source tells us Pontius has penned and recorded a crude song about how fellow Jackass Bam Margera supposedly had sex with the busty blond singer - describing a kinky form of intercourse that can't be printed in a family newspaper.
Margera was rumored to have had a fling with Simpson under the nose of her then-hubby Nick Lachey. Speculation reached the boiling point early last year when Margera's dad, Phil, blurted out that his son and Simpson had slept together. A flustered Bam admitted he'd once been in the same bed with Simpson, but insisted he fell asleep and nothing sexual happened.
Pontius did not return our call, but Simpson's flack, Rob Shuter, dismissed the sleazy song's trash talk, telling Page Six: "There's no truth to it. Bam has been using Jessica's name to get himself attention for a long time."

'Desperate Housewives' Not Suited To Emmys
Desperate Housewives is not suited to win an Emmy comedy award, according to one of its stars.
The hit series failed to pick up an nomination in the Best Comedy category, and James Denton (who plays Mike Delfino) thinks the show is not suited to a particular genre.
He said: "I don't think the show is a pure comedy or pure drama and last year, particularly, it was very dark. So, when you're nominating yourself or presenting yourself as a comedy, there's certainly funnier shows on television, as a pure comedy."
Mark Owen Becomes A Dad

Owen, who appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2002, started dating Emma two years ago.
Harvey Complains About Mis-Teeq Jealousy
Alesha Harvey has complained about her former Mis-Teeq bandmates.
The singer claims that she no longer speaks to Sabrina Washington or Su-Elise Nash because they are bitter about her superior talent.
She told the Daily Record: "There's not a lot of love lost, because there was only one in Mis-Teeq who was going to shine."
Alesha's debut solo single Lipstick is out now.
hush hush
Which screen star is having relationship troubles because she has been playing away with a fellow actor? And the duo are beginning to get so paranoid about being busted, she is refusing to promote her latest film in case she is quizzed on her personal life. It's no wonder the brunette star has her shrink come to her LA pad every day.

However, the pair, who are the best of chums despite Frost dumping Kemp for Law, got quite competitive during the match on the beach.
Jude was snapped pointing directions to step-son 15-year-old Finlay and his lad Rafferly, 9.
