The Los Angeles Ballet celebrates its much-anticipated arrival on the Southern California cultural landscape with a fundraiser on Thursday, November 9th at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, CA. The evening will be hosted by Anjelica Huston and will feature a celebrity art auction including the works of Steve Martin, Orlando Bloom, Tony Bennett, Joni Mitchell, Jeff Bridges, Julie Andrews, Tommy Chong, Leonard Cohen, David Cowles, Tony Curtis, Gil Garcetti, Joel Grey, Buck Henry, Dennis Hopper, Martin Mull, Jane Seymour, Richard Schiff, the evening's host Angelica Huston plus some surprise works. The benefit will also spotlight the Company's talented new ballet dancers as they make a special introductory appearance.

The evening will be accented with fine food and wine donated by local high-end restaurants and spirits vendors.

Los Angeles Ballet makes its debut as the city's own professional ballet company focused on capturing the creative aesthetic unique to Southern California. With a professional ballet presence in Los Angeles, balletomanes will no longer have to rely on visiting companies to experience world class dance; they will now have a home-based outlet for their passion. The contestants in the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here have been officially confirmed.

Heading to the Australian jungle are several stars from the world of music - past and present - in the form of chart-topper Jason Donovan, ex-Busted singer Matt Willis and Myleene Klass, formerly of Hear'say. Music producer David Gest - best known for his stormy relationship with Liza Minelli - will be keeping them company.

Apart from Donovan, who starred in Neighbours, the soap world is represented by Footballers' Wives actress Phina Oruche. The other faces from the television world are presenter Toby Anstis, former newsreader Jan Leeming and comedienne Faith Brown.

Rounding off the group will be Tony Blair's sister-in-law Lauren Booth and fashion designer Scott Henshall.

The musical faction of the group are favoured by the bookmakers, with Matt Willis the 7/4 favourite to be crowned 'King of the Jungle', with Klass (3/1) and Donovan(6/1) trailing in second and third.

The sixth series of the popular show begins on Monday 13th November and will once again be hosted by Geordie duo Ant and Dec.

Christopher Walken will play rocker Ozzy Osbourne in a new biopic of metal group Motley Crue.

The band's singer Vince Neil revealed Walken's cameo role when speaking about the upcoming movie - based on Motley Crue's autobiographical book The Dirt: Confessions Of The World's Most Notorious Rock Band.

Val Kilmer is also reportedly preparing to star in the film, playing David Lee Roth. Neil also suggests that the members of Motley Crue will appear in the film: "How funny is that going to be? We're doing big, giant cameos with those people."

Faithless will play an arena tour of the UK next year.

The band has announced 11 gigs in a period of just over two weeks, beginning on March 17 in Nottingham. The finale will be in Sheffield, at the Hallam Arena on March 31. Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, November 10 at 9am.

Faithless release their latest studio album, To All New Arrivals on November 27.

Sir Michael Caine has said he believes David Beckham is too young to be given a knighthood.

His comment follows rumours that Tony Blair has put the footballing superstar forward for the honour.

The legendary actor said he was confident that the 31-year-old could get the award - but said he thinks officials should wait for him to age.

"He strikes me as being very young," he declared on BBC Radio Five Live. "I was over twice his age when I got mine."

The 73-year-old added: "They should wait until he gets his first grey hair, like they did with me, then give him a knighthood."

Victoria Beckham, meanwhile, said she would be delighted if it were the case and would love to be known as a Lady. "Can you imagine?" she commented. "Oh, I’d love that, that would be quite fabulous!"

Caine was knighted six years ago aged 67.

Rosario Dawson and Jason Lewis, have reportedly split.

The actress was overheard telling a friend about the break-up in a New York restaurant over the weekend, explaining she was having to fly to Los Angeles to clear her belongings from the Hollywood home she shares with the former "Sex & the City" hunk.

Dawson and Lewis started dating in 2004 and moved in together a year ago.

A publicist who represents both Lewis and Dawson had not responded to calls when we went to press.

Lindsay Lohan says she hates her reputation as a party girl. "I'm 20 years old. Is it a crime to go ... dancing with your friends?" the actress said Tuesday on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Lohan said she was "lucky and blessed" to be able to act.

"I've been acting my whole life and this is what I love to do," said Lohan, whose screen credits include "The Parent Trap," "Freaky Friday," "A Prairie Home Companion" and the upcoming "Bobby," about the 1968 assassination of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy.

Emilio Estevez, who directed the movie, told Winfrey that Lohan was a professional on the set, showed up on time and turned in "the best work of her life."

The media focuses on allegations of wild-child behavior "because it sells," Estevez said. "I'd rather have them focus on how extraordinary she is in this film," he said.

Rap star Snoop Dogg could face jail time after admitting to boarding a flight whilst carrying an offensive weapon.

He attended an Orange County police station yesterday to face charges stemming from his arrest in September.

Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, was found to be carrying an extendable 20-inch police baton in his hand luggage. He was arrested, but released on bail for a sum of $150,000.

Broadus will appear in court over the charges on December 12, and could face up to three years in jail.

Strictly Come Dancing star Ray Fearon is dating Aussie supermodel Elle MacPherson, according to a report.

The Coronation Street actor, who plays mechanic Nathan on the soap, enjoyed dinner with Elle at Chelsea's Eight Over Eight restaurant on Friday night.

An onlooker told the News of the World: "They were having a wonderful time, Ray was making Elle laugh and she looked like she didn't want the evening to end."

A friend added: "At first Elle and Ray may seem like an odd couple, but they actually have an awful lot in common."

The news comes just one day after Fearon revealed in a newspaper interview that he is ready for love.

Ryan Phillippe has been mum about his split from wife Reese Witherspoon since their divorce was announced on Oct. 30 – until now.

In an exclusive statement, Phillippe says, “I’m not a perfect person, but I’m not guilty of a lot of the things I have been accused of. My priority is and always has been the health and safety of my family."

It’s no secret that Phillippe has always enjoyed hitting the clubs with friends. He and Witherspoon "would fight over that kind of thing all the time. He got away with a lot and he knows it," according to a source at a Santa Monica bar that Phillippe used to frequent.

His rep, however, denies it: "Look, he went out, she went out, it wasn’t a point of conflict."

Others who know them say Phillippe often stayed at his Venice office after arguments with Witherspoon, sometimes "for days a time," says the source. "He said she hated that."

Whatever happens next, says a Phillippe pal, "I know they love their kids to death. So they'll do what they can to keep it from turning ugly."
