The ladies of The View yesterday congratulated Star Jones on her new gig with Court TV. “We want to wish Star Jones congratulations. She just got a new job on Court TV and she looks beautiful,” said Rosie O’Donnell, who feuded with Star over her weight loss prior to joining The View.

Rosie O’Donnell says she began treatment for depression after the Columbine school shootings and also started inversion therapy- where she hangs upside down for up to 30 minutes a day- to improve her mental state. When gunmen killed 13 people at Columbine High School in Colorado in 1999, Rosie said she felt as if it had happened to her children. “I couldn’t stop crying,” she said on an episode taped for The View and due to air Friday. Rosie demonstrates the inversion therapy on the show.

Prison Break actor Lane Garrison was charged Thursday with manslaughter and drunken driving for a crash that killed a 17-year-old boy in his car last year. His attorney, Harland Braun, said Lane “has a deep sense of responsibility” and indicated a plea bargain was in the works.
